Digital Transformation (DX) has been transforming businesses for over half a century though the coinage is relatively recent. However, the latest waves of changes encompassing mobile apps, cloud-first approaches, zero trust infrastructure and LLMs are impacting businesses in a way unforeseen.

Governments have taken note of this with Japan establishing the Digital Agency in 2021, and similar internet and/or digital agencies established across all major economies since 2013.

Large companies have adopted the concept, but require an efficient and risk managed way of implementing DX principles without blowing the budget. Regardless of the What of the technology being considered, the Why and the How are critical in successful implementation of DX.
